Affiliate

Why join?

Joining as an Affiliate is a great way of demonstrating your commitment and building the foundations for a career in the profession. Affiliates receive all the benefits of full membership at an affordable rate. Affiliates are encouraged to engage with our regional Member Groups and Sector specific Forums to build their professional networks.

Affiliates also have access to the CILT Knowledge Centre, Europe's largest collection of logistics and transport resources. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and includes specialist company information, legislative and compliance data and access to specialist articles, news and other business intelligence information. Affiliates qualify for all other CILT membership benefits, including an online subscription to our monthly Logistics & Transport Focus magazine.

Who can join?

This entry level grade is open to anyone beginning a career or with an interest in the activities that our profession represents. No experience or formal qualifications are required at this stage.

How much does it cost?

Membership rates are kept to affordable levels by the CILT Board - see current fees.

Note: UK bank account holders can qualify for 12 months membership for the price of 11 in your first year by setting up a direct debit instruction.

How do I apply?

All members are bound by our Code of Professional Conduct.

Students

Why join?

Joining as a Student is a great way of supporting your studies, demonstrating your commitment and building the foundations for a career in the profession. Full-time students receive all the benefits of an online membership at an affordable rate and have access to our Student Hub offering support from career development specialists and hints and tips to further their studies into the workplace.

Full-time Students also have access the CILT Knowledge Centre, Europe's largest collection of logistics and transport resources. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and includes specialist company information, legislative and compliance data and access to specialist articles, news and other business intelligence information. Student members qualify for all other CILT membership benefits, including an online only subscription to our monthly Logistics & Transport Focus magazine. Students are encouraged to engage with our regional Member Groups and Forums to build their professional networks.

Who can join?

Student membership is open to individuals studying full-time for a logistics and/transport qualification. (Note we also offer membership to Apprentices and post-graduates through our eMember grade.

Student membership rates are subsidised by professional members of our Institute - see current fees.

Apprentice

Why join?

Joining as an apprentice is a great way of supporting your apprenticeship, demonstrating your commitment and building the foundations for a career in the profession. Apprentices receive all the benefits of an online membership at an affordable rate and have access to our mentors and peer support networks, the CILT Careers Service offering hints, tips and advice, and use of the Knowledge Centre, Europe's largest collection of logistics and transport resources.

Apprentices also qualify for all other CILT membership benefits, including an online only subscription to our monthly Logistics & Transport Focus magazine. Apprentices are encouraged to engage with our regional Member Groups and Forums to build their professional networks.

Who can join?

Apprentice membership is open to individuals undertaking a relevant apprenticeship within the logistics, transport or supply chain profession.

How much does it cost?

Apprentice membership rates are subsidised by professional members of our Insitute - see current fees.

eMember

Why join?

We offer an online only eMembership of the Institute to help individuals such as Post Graduates gain access to key resources at an affordable rate. eMembers receive all the online benefits of membership and have and have access to the Knowledge Centre, Europe's largest collection of logistics and transport resources, and, the CILT Careers service offering hints, tips and advice.

eMembers qualify for all other CILT membership benefits, including an online only subscription to our monthly Logistics & Transport Focus magazine.

Who can join?

eMembership is open to individuals requiring an online entry level membership to our Institute.

eMembership rates are subsidised by professional members of the Institute - see current fees
