Oxford Leadership Programme: Global Challenges in Transport


Designed to help leaders shape the future of sustainable global transport, Saïd Business School and the Transport Studies Unit invites you to join this series of four independent programmes, providing a unique opportunity to extend your knowledge of the global challenges facing transport over the next 20 years and to revolutionise your thinking around their solutions.The series is split into four distinct four-day programmes, held at Kellogg College, and can be taken separately or in conjunction with each other:

  • New Technologies and Changing Behaviours
  • Governance, Policy and Delivery
  • Infrastructure, Development and Finance
  • Health, Wellbeing and Urban Mobility

Who should attend?

The programmes are ideal for early- to mid-career professionals with a specialism in transport. Past participants come from a wide array of positions including transport planners, policymakers, practitioners, NGOs, academics and consultants.


Drawing on the University of Oxford’s world-class research and global examples of best practice, these programmes will equip you with the latest knowledge, revolutionary thinking and critical skills needed to tackle the major challenges you face now and in the future. Taught by leading academic, policy, business and industry experts, the programmes offer a wide range of disciplinary perspectives and a wealth of international experience. All programmes are CPD accredited and certified by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

On completion of your programme you are invited to join the Oxford Business Alumni Network (OBA) to help you stay connected with Saïd Business School and the wider community of the University of Oxford.

The programme fee, including all tuition, educational materials, accommodation, coffee breaks and meals is £3,500. 

Discounted rates are available for those in the public sector and academia. CILT members will also receive a 15% discount per programme.
