The Borderlands Line provides an important link between North East Wales and the Merseyrail network for connectivity throughout the Liverpool area. The Wrexham-Bidston Rail Users’ Association believes that, with its current service, the “Borderlands Line” significantly underperforms its potential.  A number of key organisations now recognise that this railway corridor could and should provide a more effective link between the communities, work and leisure locations it connects in the cross-border region.
