Since 2013, warehouse capacity has doubled, Primark currently operates from eight distribution centres. In 2016 they opened their first in-house distribution centre in Islip, Northamptonshire, the site has 1.1 million sq. ft. of space – the equivalent of 17 football pitches. It has 13 miles of aisles. And it’s a 24/7 operation powered by over 250 committed colleagues.
Our guest speaker is Elaine Sullivan. Elaine seeks to help businesses and organisations to look to their policy of diversity and inclusion, be pragmatic in their approach, and ensure that every employee is treated as an individual rather than a tick-box exercise. She has a true passion for researching the key aspects of diversity and the amazing shift that an inclusive approach can create for a business.
