FORS: Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme encompassing all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. FORS helps fleet operators to measure, monitor performance and alter their operations in order to demonstrate best practice. It is open to all fleet operators that operate in the UK, and to the organisations that award contracts to those operators.
To help raise industry standards and support continuous improvement, FORS has developed a variety of training opportunities for both managers and drivers. FORS training forms a vital step in helping your organisation to operate with greater awareness of safety, as well as providing the knowledge and tools to help your organisation perform more efficiently.
