Logistics Research Network Annual PhD Workshop 2016
This year’s LRN PhD Workshop will take place on the morning of Wednesday 7th
September. It is aimed at doctoral students or those about to embark upon
doctoral studies. The half-day workshop promises to be exciting and inspiring
and will provide newcomers to LRN with the opportunity to settle in to the
conference and meet new friends.
This workshop provides a unique opportunity to network with students from
national and international universities; share the challenges of doctoral
training with like-minded peers and benefit from the experiences of two leading
supply chain/logistics scholars: Professor David Grant (logistics and supply
chain relationships) and Dr Elizabeth Jackson (food supply chain systems).
The objectives of the workshop are:
- To bring together research students from different universities
and departments
- To explore issues relating to doctoral research, particularly
common themes affecting doctoral students around the world
- To provide advice and encouragement to doctoral students (but not
supervision!)
To reserve your place, please email
allison.glandfield@ciltuk.org.uk or call 01536 740125.
