CILT’s new Chinese Five Year Plan

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK (CILT) has signed a new five year agreement for delivery of its qualifications in China.

The agreement is the third time CILT’s range of qualifications has been licensed to Beijing’s CCTA Logistics Training Centre.

CILT’s Chief Executive Steve Agg and CCTA Logistics Training Centre’s Professor Wang Derong signed the historic agreement on 28th November. The signing took place during the 9th Annual China International Logistics Week, at the 12th China International Transportation and Logistics Fair in Wuhan.

CILT’s Level 2 and 3 Certificates in Logistics and Transport; Level 5 Diploma in Logistics and Transport and Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport will be delivered in Mandarin Chinese.

Steve Agg said: CILT’s qualifications are recognised as a benchmark of excellence across the world. China’s burgeoning economy needs the support of a new generation of excellent logistics professionals to sustain its successful growth. We are delighted that we can contribute to China’s growth with this third successive five year agreement. It follows on the heels of the successful creation of CILT(UK) in Poland, ensuring that CILT’s logistics expertise is shared with growing economies across the globe.’
