Hermes will provide online delivery services for mail order company Kingstown Associates until 2020 after adding another four years to its current contract.

The delivery company will handle more than a million parcels, fulfilling standard and next day deliveries for customers of Kingstown, which runs the Affordable Choices and Housewares Direct home shopping outlets amongst others.

Hermes and Kingstown have been working together for more than ten years and Paul Chambers, operations director at Kingstown Associates, is glad that the partnership will continue into the next decade.

“We have worked alongside Hermes for many years and we have been continually impressed by a consistent and high quality service,” he said, complimenting Hermes’ proven ability to react quickly when additional collections and support were required.

It seemed a natural choice to extend our relationship for another four years,” Mr Chambers added.

Hermes’ chief operating officer Martijn de Lange believes that Kingstown can expect more of the same as it invests in new and exciting technology in coming years.

“Kingstown Associates has been a valued customer for many years and we look forward to continuing this successful partnership in the future,” concluded Mr de Lange.
