Doddle wins PrettyLittleThing delivery contract

17 August 2016/Categories: Industry News

Parcel delivery firm Doddle has signed up yet another company to its click-and-collect services; this time, it’s online female fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing.com.

Customers of what is believed to be one of the fastest growing retailers globally can now order online before until 10pm and collect their items the next day from any of Doddle’s 50 stores, most of which are located near train stations, university campuses and shopping centres.

Although next day delivery via Doddle costs £4.99, returning unsuitable orders is free, and as many Doddle stores are fitted with changing rooms, customers can quickly decide where they’ll want to want their purchase or return it there and then.

Recent research by Doddle found that price, speed of delivery and free returns are the three most important factors to online shoppers.

PrettyLittleThing’s distribution manager Ben Hulme reckons the service offers customers greater flexibility and convenience.

He said: “Doddle’s stores are handy for our customer base at train stations and universities and the extended trading hours complement our customers’ lifestyles rather than disrupt them.”

Doddle’s latest contract win comes just six weeks after it secured a similar returns deal with fashion retailers Coast and Missguided.
