ParcelHero is UK’s cheapest way to send parcels this Christmas

12 December 2016/Categories: CILT, Industry News, Logistics & Supply Chain

Parcel broker ParcelHero has teamed up with My Hermes to offer the UK’s lowest price for shipping small parcels.

The UK based international ParcelHero now offers the cheapest UK domestic small parcel rates available. ParcelHero, which already works with quality delivery companies DHL, UPS and DPD, is now able to book discount deliveries by My Hermes, and now gives unbeatable value for any parcel over the size of large letter.

For a small parcel (up to 2kg) the Royal Mail charges a minimum of £2.85 to deliver: ParcelHero charges just £2.63 (incl. VAT). That’s 22p per shipment cheaper than the Post Office, and cheaper even than budget couriers such as Yodel.

And ParcelHero is continuing to offer its industry leading £50 free insurance on all shipments. Says David Jinks, ParcelHero’s Head of Consumer Research: ‘We believe ParcelHero is now the cheapest way to ship any parcel over large letter size within the UK. Booking your parcel through ParcelHero brings significant savings against competitors such as the Post office and all the major couriers, whether you are shipping to the UK or overseas. If Santa didn’t already have Christmas deliveries sorted; he’d undoubtedly book through ParcelHero’.
