10 January 2018/Categories: CILT, Industry News, Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain

UK Mail has announced recent changes to its senior management structure to support continued business growth. Martin Rantle joins the organisation as Vice President of Sales, Scott Laird takes on the role of Vice President of Operations and Ros Hunt has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing.

Martin Rantle will be responsible for driving growth across the parcels business and brings with him nearly 30 years’ experience in various senior positions in TNT in the UK, Europe, Americas and Asia. In recent years he has held board positions at GEFCO UK and Palletline UK and Europe.

With 12 years’ experience in the UK Mail business, Scott Laird is now responsible for all aspects of operations including health and safety and security, as well as network development.  This includes the expansion of UK Mail’s processing and delivery capabilities, in preparation for future business growth. Scott also joins the UK Mail executive board.

Promoted from Director of Marketing, Ros Hunt will now take on additional responsibility for customer service and product development, with a mandate to ensure the business continues to innovate and respond to market trends and changing customer needs.

The new roles will report into new UK Mail CEO, Peter Fuller: “Following the acquisition by Deutsche Post DHL Group, the business has seen significant growth and we have even more ambitious targets for the years ahead. The new management structure and the promotion of my experienced colleagues will ensure we’re in a strong position to capitalise on new opportunities and growth in the market.”
