CILT will be at this year’s Multimodal, the UK and Ireland’s premier freight transport, logistics and supply chain management event, on 1st–3rd May.

Experts from across the Institute will be on hand to answer your questions about CILT membership, Corporate Membership, training, The Knowledge Centre, and its national and regional events.

CILT has teamed up with Multimodal to put together a programme of workshops, master classes and panel discussions tackling the issues and trends that are affecting supply chain decision makers.

On 1st May, the Institute will host its annual Multimodal seminar day in the Dunlop Room, with four one-hour sessions that will consider topics such as how we attract talent into the profession, creating a culture of innovation, inspiring collaboration between all nine sectors CILT represents and how we can seize the opportunities of Brexit.

Keynote speakers at CILT’s seminar day include:
  • James Hookham, Deputy Chief Executive, Freight Transport Association
  • Ed Wilson, Business Development Manager - Freight, Network Rail
  • Geoff Lippitt, Business Development Director, PD Ports
  • Steve Granite, CEO, Abbey Logistics
  • Andy Kaye, CEO, Bis Henderson Group
  • Ian Brooker, Director - Logistics, WSP

Kevin Richardson FCILT, Chief Executive, CILT, says: “I am delighted that we have once again been able to work with the organisers of Multimodal to put on this great day of presentations, debates and keynote speeches. It is fundamental that CILT leads the way, as our profession continues to develop. The pace of change within our sectors has never been greater, and we hope that this seminar day will give you an insight into how best to position yourself to take advantages of these political, cultural and technological changes.”
