Van delivers message about mental health

26 June 2018/Categories: CILT, Institute News

A local haulage company is helping drive home the message about mental health by sponsoring one of it’s vehicles for a mental health charity.

JJX Logistics, based in Kingswindford, offered to sponsor the van to help the Dudley Mind raise awareness of mental health problems and encourage people to donate to Dudley Mind.

The new livery has been launched to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week  (14 – 20 May), an annual campaign to raise awareness of mental health.

John Joseph Donovan, Managing Director at JJX Logistics said: “Using one of our vans is a very visible way to raise awareness of mental health and Dudley Mind. We hope when people see the van driving around it will make them think about mental health more and give much needed support to this great local charity.”

Mark Evans, Marketing Officer at Dudley Mind said: “Mental health problems affect 1 in 4 people in any year. That means most people will know someone affected by poor mental health. Having our message on this van is such a brilliant way to raise awareness of mental health.”

He added: “We’re hugely grateful to John and JJX Logistics for sponsoring their van and it’s such a great way for us to launch Mental Health Awareness Week 2018 and help promote us as a local charity.”
