Transport Planning Day – nomination deadline extended for the People’s Award!

Transport Planning
The Transport Planning Society has extended the People’s Award nomination deadline to Friday 17 August.
You can get involved and support the Transport Planning Day campaign by encouraging communities to tell the professionals how transport planning has changed their lives.
If you, or other community members, have been involved in shaping the great transport projects in your area, then please make a nomination for the People’s Award. Communities could include parish or town councils, residents’ associations, civic societies or similar bodies.
The awards are easy to enter. You can find out more on the Transport Planning Society’s website (
https://tps.org.uk/index.php?cID=html_232
), including an example entry.
If your entry is shortlisted, you will be invited to an event in Parliament on to announce the finalists. The winner will be announced at Transport Planning Day at the Institution of Civil Engineers in London on 13 November.
