CitySprint to recruit 600 couriers

CitySprint plans to hire more than 600 additional couriers across the UK in preparation for the Christmas rush.

The new recruits will join CitySprint’s fleet of more than 5,000 couriers across the UK, with the business hiring across a range of vehicles including van, motorbike, pushbike and cargo bike couriers.

Paul Gisbourne, CEO of CitySprint, said: “Getting the festive-season supply chain right is difficult and we understand how important this time of year is for everyone. We’re making sure we have the right team in place to provide a first-class service for clients and to support the sharp rise in delivery volumes during this period.”
