Eddie Stobart wins Morrisons contract

Eddie Stobart Ltd has announced that it has been appointed by Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC (“Morrisons”) to provide transportation services from two distribution centres. This contract is additional to the work that Eddie Stobart Ltd currently carries out on behalf of Morrisons.

The new three year contract will see Eddie Stobart Ltd manage all transport planning and deliveries of chilled and ambient groceries from the two locations to Morrisons’ network of supermarkets.

William Stobart, Executive Chairman of GreenWhiteStar Acquisitions Ltd (the owner of Eddie Stobart Ltd) commented:
