The Northern political and business leaders who make up the TfN Board will consider progress on the development of TfN’s policy positions as part of its work to update the Strategic Transport Plan, currently being developed by TfN officers and partners. The update focuses on how TfN can support partners on Active Travel and Multi Modal Hubs. 

The Board will be given an update on TfN’s assessment of the economic impact of the Integrated Rail Plan and an update on the potential for local contributions. The Board will also receive an update on discussions regarding TfN’s co-sponsorship role on Northern Powerhouse Rail.

The Board will also discuss TfN Funding, Business Planning and Budget Update as well as TfN Governance.

The session will be streamed live online at 11am on Wednesday 23 February through the TfN website.
