Geek+ and Adidas have joined forces announcing the opening of their new state of the art automated distribution centre in Suzhou, China.

The distribution centre covers a 139,000 square metre area setting a new standard in terms of speed and flexibility within warehousing logistics. More than one million pieces can be processed per day in addition to having the capacity to hold 10 million pieces of apparel and footwear within its facilities.

Geek+'s logistics robot solution addressed challenges Adidas’ faced in logistics and warehousing operations. Features such as customisation for item location detection, enhanced operational safety and aligning perfectly with human-machine collaboration needs. Robot handling efficiency was also optimized through intelligent scheduling logic elevation efficiency and improving the work experience for employees.

Harm Ohlmeyer, Global Chief Financial Officer of Adidas said, "With the establishment of this centre, Adidas aims to ramp up supply chain responsiveness, boost operational efficiency, and elevate the consumer experience. We envision these logistics advancements to provide valuable insights for Adidas' global expansion."

Yong Zheng, Founder and CEO of Geek+, said, " As a pioneer in smart logistics, Geek+ is delighted to support Adidas in advancing warehouse logistics flexibility, ultimately enhancing the consumer experience.
