CILT(UK) is delighted to announce the appointment of Bethany Windsor CMILT as Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management.
Bethany joined CILT in 2017 as Programme Manager for NOVUS. Bethany’s roles at CILT(UK) have been centred around promoting the profession to underrepresented groups and securing the next generation of supply chain professionals through a wide range of programmes, including the recent Gov-backed Generation Logistics campaign.
As a former teacher, inspiring the next generation to choose the logistics sector is a personal and professional passion for Bethany. In her new role, Bethany will lead CILT(UK)’s Nations, Regions and Forums, national events, and programmes such as NOVUS, Generation Logistics and ASPIRE, as well as manage the Institute’s partnerships with Ministry of Defence, the Humanitarian Logistics Certification Programme and trade bodies and membership associations.
Bethany’s commitment to her profession has led to a number of awards and accolades, including the Multimodal “Woman of the Year” Award in 2015 and the Industry Champion Award at Talent in Logistics Awards 2019.
Andrew Weatherill, Interim CEO and Company Secretary at CILT(UK) said: “Bethany has been a core member of the CILT(UK) team for six and a half years and has spearheaded many of our successful initiatives to help grow and progress the profession. We’re delighted to have Bethany in our senior management team in the role of Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management. Bethany is a real advocate for our profession and her knowledge, passion and expertise across the logistics and transport sector will help continue to promote and grow the Institute and the wider profession.”
