Participation in the 4C Annual Supply Chain Survey will help you think differently

26 February 2024/Categories: Corporate News

London, UK – 23 February, 2024 – The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK on behalf of 4C Associates Ltd is publishing the launch of 4C Annual Supply Chain Survey. This will provide a health-check of business’ supply chain activity to assess if it is as efficient and effective as it could be. It will also help them understand how to address key supply chain challenges faced in their organisation and identify specific opportunities for them to take to their board with clear benefits to the business.

The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete. It can be started by clicking the link: 4C Annual Supply Chain Survey

4C Associates opine that, “as the business landscape is prone to disruptions and uncertainties, operational leaders must view their supply chains through a strategic lens to unearth both micro and macro factors affecting their supply chains. It is essential to understand these and set the priorities for a world-class supply chain ecosystem. These factors have eventually compelled business leaders to reconsider their priorities and view their supply chains from a holistic perspective to induce resilience and enhance agility. Organisations’ ability to keep up with the pace of change and implement widespread initiatives is essential to distinguish themselves from their peers and attain sustainable competitive advantage. Ultimately, the aim is to have higher operating margin and lower logistics cost as a percentage of sales”.

Furthermore, they ask the question whether resting on one’s laurels or only looking backwards to improve supply chains is enough? Not to worry, supported by the findings in 4C’s upcoming research, they can help business leaders understand the current state of their supply chain operations, look ahead, and think differently to reimagine and transform supply chains for the future needs of their business.

In the 4C Annual Supply Chain Survey, they will analyse responses to assess the level of supply chain maturity and degree of operational sophistication across multiple sectors. This will also provide insights into how to set-up organisations more effectively to achieve their desired goals and objectives in today’s very challenging business environment. It will also serve as a basis for businesses to compare their supply chain performance against industry peers.

Once the report is published, if respondent would like to discuss the survey outcomes and how these may help their organisation enhance its operations, they can opt at the end of the survey and 4C can arrange for a personalised briefing with their internal subject matter expert.
