XPO secures long-term logistics contract with TotalEnergies

XPO Logistics Solutions, has confirmed a new long-term partnership with TotalEnergies after winning the business through a competitive tender process.

The long-term contract will see XPO and TotalEnergies work together to improve operational efficiencies and enhance customer delivery experience.

XPO will provide end-to-end services, including inbound transportation, shared user warehousing and value-added services, and outbound distribution of transporting packaged lubricants from finished goods production to TotalEnergies UK customer base.

The transport services include Inbound, full truckload freight (FTL) from France, Belgium and the United Kingdom (UK) plant, customs brokerage, and shared user (less-than-truckload) network distribution.

The company’s UK head office is in Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire and XPO also already works with TotalEnergies in France and Iberia.

TotalEnergies benefits from a multi-client warehousing solution in one of XPO’s central Midland locations.

XPO said their integrated technology solution, which includes a leading warehouse management system along with plans to provide TotalEnergies with the ability to utilise its XPO Connect system, will further enhance the customer experience.

The logistics company operates the largest in-house ADR network in the UK and specialises in the distribution of chemical, lubricant, and construction products.
