The Charted Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT UK) would like to congratulate all members and friends of the institute who have been recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours List. This list recognises individuals for their exceptional achievements and service to the nation.

Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)

  • William Hiron FCILT, Managing Dircetor of Stephensons of Essex, for services to passenger transport. 

Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE)

  • Sonya Naiken Byeers, Women in Transport CEO, and Patron for Women in the Move Against Cancer for services to diversity.
  • Elaine Clark, Rail Forum CEO, for services to the rail supply industry. 
  • CILT Rail Study Forum president, Shamit Weinberger-Gaiger, Managing Director at West Coast Partnership Development, for services to the rail sector. 

Companion of the Bath (CB)

  • Lieutenant General Richard Wardlaw OBE.

Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)

  • Dr Godfrey Jacobs, for services to road safety. 
  • Major Andrew John Thackway, Royal Logistic Corps.
