CILT (UK) Board Elections 2024 voting now open

12 August 2024/Categories: CILT, Logistics & Supply Chain, Institute News

In the June 2024 Focus, notice was given of 3 vacancies for Board Members of CILT (UK) and expressions of interest sought. A strong response was received, and the CILT (UK) Nominations Committee reviewed all expressions and obtained further details from candidates including formal nomination.

The Nominations Committee undertook a skills-based / diversity review of the Board, updated following the recent appointments of an Ex-officio Board Member and 5 Co-opted Board Members who all joined the Board in July 2024. The Committee reviewed all applications aiming to address areas of relative weakness of the Board.

As a result of this qualified election process, 5 members are being put forward to the Members for election. Civica Election Services (CES) will be communicating either by e-mail or post with all Members of the Institute holding the grade of MILT, CMILT or FCILT and they will be able to vote on-line via a dedicated portal for up to 3 candidates. The portal will display the Candidates’ personal statements. Voting closes at noon on Sunday 8 September 2024.

CES are the independent Scrutineers as referred to in CILT (UK) Bye-Laws and the results will be available for declaration on 9 September 2024.

The 5 candidates are:

  • Adrian Botham – Managing Director, Servispart Consulting
  • Austin Birks – Group CEO, Verita HR Group, Poland/UK
  • Ian Kirkpatrick – Independent Management Consultant, EISOP Ltd
  • Joann Robertson – Head of Supply Chain Transformation, Babcock International Group
  • Steve Cross – Managing Director, CenGlobal

FYI: If members have not received and email from Civica then please ensure you also check your junk folder.
