Fluent Cargo Partners with DP World CARGOES to Enhance Global Shipping Tracking

In a move to address the ongoing challenges of global shipment disruptions and delays, Fluent Cargo has announced a strategic partnership with DP World CARGOES.

The collaboration aims to offer Easy Shipping Tracking to customers worldwide.

Fluent Cargo, often referred to as the 'Google Maps for Freight', will integrate its user-friendly central shipment tracking platform with DP World CARGOES' extensive carrier network.

This partnership will grant customers access to tracking information for more than 70 ocean carriers, 80 air carriers, and 1,100 parcel trucks or couriers within the DP World CARGOES network.

Pradeep Desai, Group Chief Technology Officer at DP World said: “With 10% of world trade moving through our network, we’re committed to offering best-in-class integrated global capabilities and bespoke solutions to our customers’ needs.

“We’re excited to partner with Fluent Cargo to strengthen their tracking capability, providing customers with the most up to date and relevant information on shipments via ocean or air.”

DP World's digital service, CARGOES, is known for providing solutions that support shippers with tracking capabilities to ports globally, addressing inefficiencies in the supply chain that hinder trade.

By incorporating Fluent Cargo's technology, the partnership seeks to further streamline these processes.

Fluent Cargo's offering builds upon its reputation for data accuracy and cargo network connectivity.

The company's tracking portal aims to eliminate segmented data and reduce manual, tedious, and costly processes prone to errors.

By identifying pain points and addressing them directly, the system helps prevent serious problems from occurring.

A key feature of Fluent Cargo's service is its ability to provide real-time tracking information using carrier integrations, milestones, and shipment progression.

This centralised approach to data management is agnostic of carrier, service provider, mode, or region, potentially leading to significant cost savings for users.

The partnership between Fluent Cargo and DP World CARGOES is expected to bring a new level of transparency and efficiency to global shipping operations, offering a solution to the ongoing challenges faced by businesses in managing their supply chains.

Archival Garcia, Fluent Cargo CEO said: “A lack of unified origin-to-destination tracking for freight is a common problem for organisations, who work without a global standard in terms of sharing and collaborating data.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with an industry leading organisation to reach as many customers as possible to more conveniently and efficiently access up-to-date information on the location and progress of their cargo easily without cumbersome lock in contracts.

“In the ever-changing cargo logistics ecosystem, we want to provide simplicity and flexibility.”
