CILT Chartered Fellows Peter Bradley FCILT, Managing Director of the UK Coach Operators Association, and Louise Cheeseman FCILT, Chair of Women in Bus and Coach, were recently invited to the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Bus and Coach on 16 December.
They were joined by APPG Chair Lord Peter Snape and Claire Walters, CEO of Bus Users UK.
The Group aims to provide a forum for parliamentarians and industry stakeholders to generate debate, disseminate knowledge and drive new initiatives and campaigns relating to the industry's growth and survival.
Members of CILT(UK)'s own Bus and Coach Forum, alongside the Institute's independent Bus and Coach Policy Group, are keen to advise and share their expertise to help shape the sector's future in the most effective way possible.
