Wincanton secure new 10-year deal will Britvic

British soft drink producers, Britvic has announced a contract extension with supply chain partner Wincanton in a new 10-year deal.

The deal will take the partnership with the two businesses into its 40th year.

Under the new contract extension, Wincanton will continue to provide storage and distribution services for Britvic, which is home to brands including Robinsons, J2O and Tango, in the UK.

Wincanton has said it has significantly invested in automation to increase productivity, capacity and capability at Britvic’s national distribution centre in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

The contract will also see Wincanton continue to manage Britvic’s fully automated warehouse facility in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Together, the two sites despatch a combined 650,000 cases of Britvic products daily.
