GXO Logistics, a CILT(UK) Network Partner, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Castore, the performance sportswear brand.
Since April 2024, GXO has been providing logistics services to Castore's business in the United Kingdom.
The logistics provider has been responsible for distributing teamwear to various sporting teams and individuals, including Oracle Red Bull Racing, McLaren F1, Everton FC, the England Cricket teams, and Olympic silver medallist Adam Peaty.
The new contract will see Castore expand its partnership with GXO, who will now provide logistics operations in the Netherlands, with future plans to extend to the United States.
Alongside teamwear, GXO distributes products to wholesale customers selling team merchandise and high-quality sportswear, whilst also providing retail distribution to more than 20 Castore stores across Europe.
The logistics giant is additionally responsible for fulfilling and managing the transport of all e-commerce sales globally.
Richard Cawston, Chief Revenue Officer at GXO, described the partnership as fantastic, praising Castore as a like-minded and growing brand.
"It's brilliant that our success in the UK has given us the opportunity to grow our partnership so Castore can access our global network as they grow in Europe and the U.S.," said Richard.
Adrian Harris, Chief Supply Chain Officer of Castore, added: "As Castore continues its fast-paced growth, we want to ensure we work with partners to support and strengthen our ambitions to be one of the world's highest performance sportswear brands.
“We're confident that GXO is the right logistics partner to manage our existing operations in the UK, and across our global network, with an experienced team and world-class systems to meet our needs."
