HaulageHub announces partnership with FORS

Industry News

18 February 2025/Categories: Industry News, Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain

HaulageHub, digital freight marketplace based at Sci-Tech Daresbury, has announced a partnership with FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme), the UK’s fleet safety accreditation scheme.

This is the second partnership HaulageHub has announced in 2025, following its collaboration with the Road Haulage Association (RHA) to launch the RHA Exchange, a platform designed to expedite the exchange of work and reduce inefficiencies that have traditionally marred the sector.

This new joint venture will similarly enable more hauliers to join the HaulageHub network, allowing FORS’ 4,700 operators to trade work with other FORS Operators.

HaulageHub’s said the partnership demonstrates its commitment to safety, quality and sustainability within the logistics sector.

It is aimed to ensure members are accessing work which is deemed safer, greener, and more efficient.

The company said the partnership will also facilitate HaulageHub’s control tower solutions into large infrastructure projects, signalling a significant opportunity for the construction sector.

According to HaulageHub, access to these control tower solutions means that construction companies will benefit from the flexibility of access to multiple hauliers who specialise within their own geographies, reducing waste and saving money.

Scott Robertson, Co-founder of HaulageHub said: “We are so pleased to announce this partnership with FORS, showing our commitment to ensuring our members have access to safer, more environmentally friendly jobs.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the construction sector, given their close links with FORS, as we can provide them with access to our control tower solutions which will help projects across the country increase their green credentials.

“At a time when the government is looking to ‘build, build, build’, this new strategic alliance will allow contractors to ensure their transport solutions are delivered as sustainably as possible.”

FORS Director, Geraint Davies, said: “Our accreditation is proof of fleet excellence, with all our operators setting high standards for safety, efficiency and environmental protection.

“We share the same desire as HaulageHub to improve the sector and this partnership is testament to such.”
