ROLE

CAS delivers the audit service covering the DVSA’s DCPC, TDCPC, DGDT and DDR training and testing schemes. There are currently opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced people to join our team of Auditors carrying out organisational and course audits within these four schemes across the UK.

Auditors are contracted, home based and self-employed. They are supported by our Operations team, an Auditor Coach and our internal systems.

A fee tariff applies, starting at £335 per audit including expenses - an experienced auditor will typically undertake at least 80-100 audits per year.


ABOUT YOU

 

You will be looking to add to your existing portfolio of work and clients.

You will have experience of quality assurance in an education or training setting.

You will have relevant sectoral knowledge and experience.

You will be well-organised, attentive to detail, a quick learner, empathetic, a good communicator, and digitally literate.

You will have no personal or professional interests that compete with those of the organisations or trainers who we are auditing.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications are a minimum requirement:

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

and/or

  • Training Delivery RfQ Level 3

In addition, a mix of the following qualifications are required:

  • DCPC – A full, clean category C/D driver’s licence
  • DCPC – Registered as an ADI and/or qualified on a professional PCV/LGV register
  • DGDT – A current ADR Driver Training Certificate
  • DDR – RfQ Level 3 Understanding Substance Misuse or Equivalent

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Follow CAS process and guidance on audit preparation, delivery, reporting and billing
  • Operate as part of a team
  • Commit to your own professional development
  • Undergo initial assessment and periodic peer reviews of your performance
  • At all times comply with the CAS Auditor Code of Conduct
