Walker Logistics are proud to announce two major business updates for 2025. As our business and that of our customers continues to grow, we have made the strategic decision to expand our physical footprint into Europe, as well as building a new carbon net zero facility on our freehold UK HQ. Ultimately, this will allow both existing brands and those considering partnering with Walkers the ability to offer highly efficient, cost effective and sustainable fulfilment solutions in a scalable manner across both regions.

As of Q1 this year, we are fully operational with our first fulfilment centre in Europe. The state-of-the-art high-performance warehouse is in Kerkrade, at the border tripoint of the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

A gas free ​“All Electric” building with energy label A+++, it offers customers a highly sustainable, futureproofed facility to operate from. The accessibility is outstanding, directly off the highway, with Maastricht Airport only 20 kilometres away, within a region that is known for its affordable, high-quality workforce with experience in the logistics industry.

The concept is built on a ‘seamless’ service that allows the same high quality, efficiency, and personal approach as the UK, but taking advantage of experience in the territory to overcome any possible negatives such as local law, compliance requirements and delivery expertise that can differ from region to region.

In addition, as many of Walker Logistics’ customers continue not just to grow, thus requiring more physical space, they are also quite rightly challenging us with our sustainability and environmental commitments we have reacted to by creating what will be a world-class carbon net zero fulfilment centre at our existing UK HQ.

The 135,000 sq. ft. warehouse will also be built to BREEAM excellent and offer the latest industry technology within its four walls. Completion will be during Q4, and we look forward to welcoming both existing and new brands to call it home!
