CILT(UK) has revealed its Top 30 UK Logistics Service Providers for 2025, marking the eighth year of this prestigious list.
The highly anticipated Top 30 Logistics Service Providers list continues to highlight organisations that are innovative, progressive, and exemplify excellence.
The ranking is based on a comprehensive assessment of publicly available data from Companies House, including company financials, performance, professional accreditation, gender pay gap (for companies with 250+ employees), modern slavery statements, and environmental and social governance practices.
This year's list recognises both major global logistics players and local family-owned businesses, reflecting the diverse nature of the UK logistics sector.
The data compilation process takes place at the beginning of the new tax year (circa 6th April) to ensure access to the most up-to-date information from company submissions to Companies House via the Fame company database. For the 2025 list the financial period ending 31 December 2023 was assessed.
Anna-Jane Hunter, Chair at CILT(UK), commented on this year's lists: "The 2025 Top 30 Logistics Service Providers list showcases the resilience and adaptability of our sector across all scales of operation.
“In a year marked by continued global challenges and rapid technological advancements, these companies have demonstrated outstanding commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. Their efforts not only drive our industry forward but also play a crucial role in supporting the UK's economy and supply chain resilience."
For the first time ever, Unipart Logistics has not only made it onto CILT’s Top 30 list but has also secured the number one spot.
Commenting of this major achievement, Darren Leigh, Unipart CEO, said: "We are incredibly proud to debut on CILT's Top 30 Logistics Providers list at number one for 2025. This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our 12,000 colleagues and the strong partnerships we've built, and follows Unipart celebrating 50 years of the brand in 2024.
“It validates the success of our three-year growth strategy, which has transformed Unipart from a service provider into a leading supply chain performance improvement partner. This recognition fuels our commitment to our people, safety, and sustainability, all of which are deeply embedded in our culture."
