Parcel delivery company Evri has announced the company is expanding its partnership with fast-fashion trading retailer Deben
hams Group, home to brands such as PrettyLittleThing, boohoo, boohooMAN and Karen Millen.
According to Evri, the two-year contract extension comes as the company recorded 807 million parcels marking its most significant financial year yet with Debenhams Group, a partnership that has been in place since 2014.
Under the new deal Evri hopes it will establish itself as one of the group’s key delivery partners with the company’s recently launched £50 million investment for its locker strategy playing a key role in supporting this.
With this investment Evri expects to more than double its network of ParcelShops and Lockers by 2030, reaching 25,000 locations as it aims to give shoppers more choice over how they receive their orders to suit their daily schedules.
The renewed partnership follows current announcements by Evri including its proposed merger with DHL UK eCommerce, alongside the acquisition of Ireland’s Coll-8, an independent customs clearance and logistics specialist.
David Saenz, Chief Commercial Officer, Evri, said: “This is an exciting time for Evri, as we invest in doubling our ParcelShop and locker network by 2030, as well as the announcement of our proposed merger with DHL eCommerce UK, all of which makes it particularly special for us that we can continue to strengthen our long-term client relationships.”
Dan Finley, Chief Executive Officer, Debenhams Group, added: “As a global business serving millions of customers, delivering a seamless and reliable service is our top priority. Today's shoppers expect speed, flexibility and full visibility when it comes to receiving their items, whenever and however they choose to shop.”
