Stagecoach East Midlands will tour Lincolnshire this December collecting Christmas presents for disadvantaged children as part of a
charitable campaign.
The bus operator has partnered with Hits Radio for the Cash for Kids 'Mission Christmas' initiative, which supports children who would otherwise receive no gifts on Christmas morning.
A 'Fill The Bus Tour' will run from 9 to 11 December across the region. On 9 December, the bus will visit Marshall's Yard in Gainsborough and Tesco Extra on Wragby Road in Lincoln. The following day it will stop at Blue Anchor Ltd and the Embassy Theatre in Skegness, before visiting Ringrose Law and Downtown in Boston.
Members of the public are encouraged to donate at Marshall's Yard, Tesco Extra on Wragby Road and Downtown.
On 11 December, stops include Lincoln College, The Comet and Baths Hall in Scunthorpe, and Heron Foods in Barton-upon-Humber.
The bus will also visit all Stagecoach East Midlands depots on 15 and 16 December to collect staff donations. Last year, the company's team contributed 670 gifts.
Matt Cranwell, Managing Director of Stagecoach East Midlands, said supporting local communities during the festive season reflects the company's core values.
