Autolink 2013 to offer green opportunities for transport

17 October 2013/Categories: Industry News

Autolink 2013 will have a focus on electrical storage and software when it takes place on November 14th.

Held in north Wales, the event will bring figureheads together from many industries - including aerospace and automotive sectors.

This year's conference on automotive technology will have an emphasis on energy storage options and system opportunities in the supply chain.

An important part of the event will be a select panel of speakers coming together to detail current developments in automotive engineering.

According to chief executive of the Welsh Automotive Forum Tim Williams, the UK Automotive Council has already highlighted important areas for the future of transport.

Mr Williams said: "The speakers will be able to tell delegates what they will be looking for from future suppliers and the components industry can in-turn talk about what they can provide in these areas.”

The focus on energy storage and software is important in an industry such as transport, where hybrid or electric vehicles are becoming more commonplace. Autolink 2013 aims to focus on these technologies, letting businesses meet various exhibitors to sample current and upcoming products.
