Food and drink logistics provider Culina has secured a ten-year lease on a near 212,000-sq-ft warehouse in Bristol.
The company completed a deal with developer GE Capital, which was advised by Savills, Knight Frank and Jones Lang LaSalle, and will move into Block A of Crossflow 550 at Cabot Park Bristol.
Crossflow 550 is in a very handy location between London, Wales and Birmingham, and benefits from being less than five miles from junction 18/18a of the M5/M49 and ten miles from the M4/M5 interchange.
A recent study by Colliers showed that the UK is facing a warehouse shortage crisis, so any announcements of a major sale or tenancy agreement are bound to be big news.
The research indicated the supply of available distribution centres over 100,000 sq ft in size will dry out in just three years' time.
Rob Cleeves, director of industrial at Savills Bristol, said this latest deal reiterates Cabot Park's status as the leading logistics location in the south-west.
