The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) is the leading professional body associated with logistics and transport. CILTHK is committed to its vision - ‘To be recognised as the leading worldwide source and assurance of excellence for transport and logistics professionals.'

The Chartered Institute of Transport is an internationally recognised institution founded in 1919 in United Kingdom; and the Hong Kong Branch was first set up in 1968. The local chapter was upgraded to Territorial Organisation (formerly named as National Council) status in 1991 and was renamed as the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong in 2001. Since its establishment, CILTHK has constantly strived to achieve its mission in promoting the study of the science and art of logistics and transport, to cooperating with the educational sector and other professional institutions with the objective of raising standards, to fostering investigation and research into the development and improvement of logistics and transport by every practical means.
