Lagos - Nigerian Railway Corporation has been conferred with the award of the "Most improved organization in infrastructural capacity building" by the governing Council of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

The award was conferred on the corporation during the 3-day conference of the institute held in Abuja, a statement from the NRC said.

The Deputy Director (Corporate Planning) of the corporation Mr. John Dottie, who received the award on behalf of the Managing Director, Engineer Adeseyi Sijuwade, expressed his gratitude to the institute and said the award was a challenge to hard work and quality service delivery.

He said the leadership and entire staff of the corporation would remain committed to the successful implementation and completion of the on-going rehabilitation of the corporation's track system, other fixed and movable assets.
