The deal, with landlord Prologis, sees it take floorspace at Prologis Grange Park in Northampton to operate its contract with Inditex, the parent company of fashion retailer Zara. The deal marks the second big East Midlands deal for Prologis this week. On Wednesday Prologis and Amazon have taken their partnership a step further with a new 310,000 sq ft warehouse at Dunstable. The new Clipper unit was built speculatively, with work on site completed in March. Prologis is working with Clipper Logistics to secure planning permission for works on the internal fit-out and it is anticipated that the building will be fully operational by autumn 2015.
