Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group has awarded a three-year logistics contract to SDV, part of Bollore Logistics.
SDV is tasked with providing domestic and international logistics for the company, which specialises in conversion, modification, maintenance and support of civil and military aircraft, in addition to various other engineering solutions.
Daily services to all of Marshall's locations will be provided by SDV, including RAF Brize Norton, Broughton, Kirkbymoorside, and Cambridge.
The cost of aircraft-on-ground transport is expected to be reduced by SDV's involvement, while ensuring the necessary speed of service.
Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group currently boasts a worldwide customer base and over 2,000 members of staff.
It has an annual turnover in excess of £320 million and is part of the wider Marshall Group, which is based in Cambridge and has an annual turnover of £1.3 billion.
