Reed Boardall Transport has announced the addition of 50 new Volvo FHs to its fleet - and the vehicles come complete with the latest safety features.
The controlled storage and distribution business was supplied with the new Volvos by its regular partner - Crossroads Truck and Bus.
A 180-strong fleet of vehicles currently held by the firm will be considerably bolstered by the latest investment.
All of the new vehicles comply with Euro 6, which is the latest diesel engine emission legislation being driven by the European Commission.
Managing director of Reed Boardall Transport Howard Gill said his business prides itself on a next day delivery promise to customers, which is why the Volvos were purchased.
"Ensuring that we can meet our customers' needs to have stock delivered within 24 hours in the exact volumes needed by the retailers, is at the heart of our operation," he commented.
