Warehouse management proved to be central in the opening sessions of the Logistics Manager Technology Showcase.

The event proved a hit with equipment buyers from the industry, as it attracted a high volume of attendees, with visitor number expectations surpassed on the first day. 

Product manager at Advanced Business Solutions Graham Gittins discussed business intelligence, emphasising the importance of companies aligning systems and removing old processes that slow them down. 

Renovotec business development manager Patrick Hookey added that bandwidth and related communication technology developments will likely be something the industry as a whole is looking forward to. 

"We would have to see if there is anyone that may need more [bandwidth], but I would say infrastructure is a long way ahead of the game," he commented. 

The event was designed to help buyers in the logistics industry develop their understanding of market leading products and services, improving their ability to make informed choices.
