Work on H&M distribution centre completed

01 July 2015/Categories: Industry News

Building envelope specialist The CA Group has completed work on a major new distribution centre for high street clothing retailer H&M.

Some major innovations have been incorporated into the site, including cladding with the introduction of a graduated green facade, giving the warehouse a highly distinctive look.

The graduated colour scheme is incorporated into the facade through the use of CA Group's Twin-Therm built-up system, which offers multiple sustainability benefits.

These include the addition of continuous liner and insulation within the building, which serves to both minimise fire risk and make the building as airtight as possible.

Product development manager at the CA Group Stuart Brown said the distribution centre is "a million miles away from the grey buildings of the past".

"We are extremely pleased with the end result and look forward to many more successful projects of this kind," he remarked.
