Knowles Transport - a haulage firm based in Cambridgeshire - has become the latest shareholder member of Palletforce
This is the first time the company has joined a distribution network - and the family-run business will cover selected PE postcodes in Cambridgeshire and East Anglia.
Palletforce was recently voted logistics supplier of the year at the Grocer Gold awards, and the addition of Knowles to its roster will allow it to further enhance its existing service across the region.
Business development manager Alex Knowles said the move represents the next logical development in the development of his company.
"Palletforce's distribution system allows for huge quantities of goods to be shipped nationwide and even into Europe, at far more cost-effective rates than conventional courier and distribution methods," he commented, adding that this will apply to both single pallet deliveries, as well as larger loads and part-loads.
