Fortec extends reach in Kent with two new network additions

21 July 2015/Categories: CILT, Industry News, Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain

UK pallet delivery specialist Fortec Distribution has announced the addition of two new members to its network.

Eminence Logistics and Boxley Haulage are now part of the Fortec family - and the development sees Fortec extend its reach in Kent and the south-west of England.

This comes as Fortec aims to offer a more efficient and cost effective service to its customer base, as well as to build a competitive edge over its rivals.

Formed three years ago, Eminence was originally a third party logistics provider to a single customer, but it now boasts three warehouses and a fleet of 12 vehicles.

Boxley Haulage was founded with one truck in 2013, but has already invested in a second vehicle to meet demand.

Operations director for Boxley Paul Searing said: "We have only been with Fortec a short time but have already built up a good relationship with the network and are doing so with the [other] members."
