Leeds delivery hub opened by John Lewis

19 August 2015/Categories: CILT, Industry News, Logistics & Supply Chain

John Lewis has announced that it will be opening a new customer delivery hub at Logic Leeds.

This 110-acre development is the flagship warehousing unit from Muse Developments and it is situated in the Leeds City Region Enterprise Zone.

A 50,500 sq ft state-of-the-art distribution warehouse will be occupied by the department store chain for the duration of a 20-year lease.

An estimated 65 new jobs will be created at the hub, which will service orders from the John Lewis store in York.

Director of customer delivery operations at John Lewis Mark Robinson said the new facility will be a very welcome development for his firm.

"This will allow us to successfully support our customers in the Leeds catchment and surrounding areas with the wide range of delivery, installation and assembly services we have on offer for our customers," he commented.
