Building and technical insulation manufacturer Saint-Gobain Isover has extended its contract with Bibby Distribution for another two years.
The agreement expands on a contract initially inked in October 2010 - and Bibby will now be tasked with introducing a raft of measures to bolster considerations such as safety, sustainability and efficiency.
This includes the deployment of a dedicated Kalmar distribution tractor on site - and this will present trailers for loading at Isover's Runcorn warehouse.
An older tractor unit is being replaced by the new addition, which is easier and more cost-effective to maintain.
Supply chain manager at Isover David Lydon praised Bibby for its ability to respond to his company's needs in an effective and efficient manner.
"The contract has been renewed because Bibby Distribution continues to deliver a value for money service, while being highly proactive on health and safety, and committing to deliver on-going improvement," he remarked.
