The Knights of Old Group has signed a new contract that sees UniCarriers become its sole supplier of industrial indoor and outdoor trucks.
Before now, the Knights of Old Group's forklift fleet had been split between internal and external material handling equipment - but this has now been unified as UniCarriers is the exclusive provider for the Midlands-based privately owned logistics company.
Logistics director for the Knights of Old Group Kelvin Gingell said his company has had a long working relationship with UniCarriers, going back to the days when it was known as Atlet.
Despite this, a robust tender process was still carried out for the new deal, so operators had a chance to test out the new equipment.
"We have a flexible agreement that enables us to swap out kit throughout the term of the contract depending on our ever evolving business requirements," Mr Gingell commented.
