Crown has highlighted some of its best practices with regard to lean and sustainable manufacturing initiatives.
The forklift truck manufacturer will offer presentations and facility tours as part of this year's Association for Manufacturing Excellence International Conference, which is due to be held from October 19th to 23rd.
Presentations by Crowns environmental health and safety manager Tonja Rammel and director of corporate environmental and manufacturing safety Brian Duffy will focus on strategies for improving environmental health and safety practices.
Another presentation will outline how to establish an efficient, effective and flexible lean management system.
Senior vice-president of manufacturing at Crown Dave Besser said this is an excellent opportunity for his company to share how it has achieved business and customer service goals with the wider industry.
"We always appreciate the opportunity to discuss best practices with our peers who are also incorporating lean and sustainability into their environments," he commented.
