Food store giant Asda has announced the launch of a new third-party parcel service that will make some innovations in the ways in which customers can collect their deliveries.
After purchasing products from the firm's website, people will now be able to collect and return orders placed with third parties at any one of the 614 Asda stores up and down the country.
This service has been branded ToYou and is powered by Asda's parent company WalMart.
It is hoped that by tapping into the 1.5 billion parcel deliveries made every 12 months, Asda will be able to increase footfall into its supermarkets by up to 40 million visits a year.
Vice-president for Asda logistics services and supply chain Ian Stansfield said: "Not only are we providing online retailers with a presence on the high street we're also bridging a gap for customers who want to collect or return their online orders."
