Corporate Solutions Logistics has announced an upgrade to its fleet with the acquisition of 30 new 44T Mercedes Benz Actros.
These vehicles are on hire from Alltruck and will be used to replace Euro 5 vehicles that are currently on hire from the same firm.
The new Mercedes vehicles are set to enter service immediately as part of Lidl's growing distribution fleet.
Featuring the latest BigSpace cab design, the trucks represent just one part of Alltruck's £2.5 million state-of-the-art vehicle investment, which has been made over the last quarter.
Alltruck managing director Paul Robinson said driver acceptance is the key consideration his firm takes into account when offering new trucks.
"Customers tell us how important it is to retain the best drivers and achieve minimum downtime - that's why we ensure our fleet specification helps to support this," he commented.
